Welcome to my website Hypnotherapy for Health. My name is Sinéad Duffy and I am delighted that you are interested in finding out about hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.
If you suffer from anxiety, panic attacks, social phobias, depression, past traumas or unwanted behaviours then hypnotherapy and psychotherapy can help.
Emotional suffering is just as real as physical suffering and there is no need to live in distress when hypnotherapy and psychotherapy is available. If your symptoms, dilemma or condition was created by emotion it must be resolved emotionally.
Hypno-psychotherapy is one of the most transformative therapies available. In general, when people begin therapy, they find the sessions self-enlightening, cathartic and motivating. They look forward to their next session where they can release negative emotions and look forward to more good feelings.
About Your Therapist
With over 20 years of experience in personal development, I am a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist. I’m also a member of the European Association of Professional Hypnotherapists and hold a Master in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy.
I use a combination of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, analytical hypnotherapy, hypno-counselling and life coaching to help people break free from psychological suffering and feel good.
I have also trained in enhanced cognitive behavioural therapy CBT, counselling skills, gestalt therapy, inner child work, dream interpretation, psychoneuroimmunology, neuro-linguistic programming, mindfulness based stress reduction, enneagram personality profiling and hypno-psychotherapy for eating disorders such as binge eating, emotional eating, anorexia and bulimia.
We are living in exciting times, where scientific discoveries in the field of neuroscience are now understanding why analytical hypnotherapy is so powerful. I am committed to continuing my education in so that I can provide the best and most effective therapeutic techniques available. I regularly attend seminars, conferences and events to ensure that my knowledge, skills and performance are enhanced. It have also enjoyed returning to the classroom to speak to trainee therapists learning about childhood trauma.
Regardless of what the latest sciences discover about the brain, and how we use that to advance best practices, there is something deeply profound about what takes place during the therapeutic experience. It is much more than a scientific study of the mind and behaviour.
The therapeutic journey is one of self-discovery, insight, and profound personal growth. It helps us understand who we are, why we feel the way we do, and how our past has shaped our present.
Therapy offers guidance through life’s challenges and opens the way to living more fully and meaningfully. Rather than doubting our worth or hiding behind fear, therapy supports us in feeling secure, empowered, and true to ourselves. When we move beyond self-limiting beliefs, we begin to live with greater clarity, purpose, and connection.
My interest in psychology, neuroscience, personal growth and development guided me to study life coaching, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy. I am humbled to have witnessed firsthand the changes that people can make in their lives in a relatively short period of time. It is a great pleasure and a complete privilege for me to observe that process of change in peoples lives.
