20 Years Experience in Treating Anxiety and Emotional Pain


For over 20 years, I’ve helped adults uncover, understand, and heal the emotional wounds that fuel anxiety, fear and self-doubt.  
These often trace back to early life experiences that shaped how we see ourselves and relate to others.

If we want to understand ourselves as adults we have to look back at the formative years that brought us to maturity. The past rarely remains in the past but therapy helps us bring awareness, compassion, and healing to those early wounds.

Therapy for anxiety and trauma supports you in understanding your experiences, calming your nervous system, and restoring inner balance.

The aim of therapy isn’t  just to manage symptoms and unwanted feelings, it’s to release the emotions that lie beneath them.

Using a unique blend of hypnotherapy, trauma informed hypno-psychotherapy, CBT, life coaching, counselling and other evidence-based methods, I will help you move towards greater calm, confidence and peace of mind.

Hypno-psychotherapy can be deeply transformative for many people.  In general, when people begin therapy, they find the sessions self-enlightening, cathartic and motivating.  They look forward to their next session where they can release emotion and look forward to more good feelings.

 

Clinical Expertise Rooted in Compassion

I hold a Master’s qualification in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy and trained intensively over 7 years with the Institute  of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, which included supervised clinical work, personal therapy and research.  This training is in line with the hours and standards of the European Association of Psychotherapists. 

I am a member of the European Association of Professional Hypnotherapists.

I am committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending training,  seminars and conferences to stay informed of the most effective therapeutic techniques.

It’s also been a privilege to teach trainee hypnotherapists learning to work with anxiety and childhood trauma.

We are living in exciting times where neuroscience increasingly explains why analytical hypnotherapy is so effective.  Yet beyond brain science and the latest therapy techniques,  there is something deeply profound about what takes place during the therapeutic experience.

Therapy  allows for self-discovery, insight, and genuine change.  It helps us understand who we are, why we feel the way we do, and how our past has shaped our present.

It offers space to talk about life’s challenges and opens the way to living more fully and meaningfully.

When you move beyond self-limiting beliefs, you begin to live with greater clarity, purpose, and connection.

My interest in psychology, neuroscience, personal growth and development guided me to study life coaching, hypnotherapy and psychotherapy.  I am humbled to have witnessed firsthand the changes that people can make in their lives in a relatively short period of time. It is a great pleasure and a complete privilege for me to observe that process of change in peoples lives.
